Celebrating the power and achievements of women around the world on International Women’s Day!

White Rabbit Gallery founder and director, Dr Judith Neilson AM, is a patron, adviser and benefactor to a diverse range of charities in Australia and around the world. Judith supports a number of causes targeting slavery, homelessness, children’s health, affordable housing, climate change and food scarcity along with a long-standing interest in architecture and design. Judith feels that the opportunity to work within these areas will provide a powerful force for change in the lives of vulnerable people around the world.

The Judith Neilson Foundation has awarded a A$1 million grant to the International Anti-Poaching Foundation (IAPF), which will be used to strengthen its ‘Akashinga – Nature Protected by Women’ program in Zimbabwe. The program, which has been a catalyst for change across the region, focuses on social impact to achieve conservation at scale, with the empowerment of women central to its strategy.

“Akashinga’s strong focus on supporting marginalised women in rural areas, alongside delivering infrastructure upgrades for healthcare, education and clean water are vital for community led conservation having impact at scale. The women of Akashinga have proven this and I am excited to be supporting them as they expand their work in Africa.” Judith Neilson

It’s been a huge start for our new exhibition ‘I Loved You’… in the first week we have broken our record for weekly visitor numbers! 🎉 We also broke our record for daily visitor numbers on Saturday… and then again on Sunday!
