Whether you’re visiting White Rabbit’s collection, meeting a friend or just in need of a break, the gallery’s tranquil street-level Tea House is a delightful place to relax, chat, or simply read the paper as you sip.
Enjoy our famous White Rabbit scones which are freshly baked daily in-house. Served with jam and cream, they are the perfect sweet treat to enjoy with a pot of the finest Chinese and Taiwanese teas. Choose from our fragrant oolongs, delicate antioxidant-rich white teas, calming green teas, rich malty black teas, and soothing caffeine-free chrysanthemum tea. In the summer, don’t miss our refreshing, house-made lychee iced tea.
If you’re not sure which tea will suit your taste or mood, our cheerful attendants are happy to offer suggestions. Most Chinese teas can be infused several times, and many taste best on the second or third steeping. We’ll keep topping up your pot at no extra charge until you’ve had your blissful fill. We also offer an array of wine, beer and juices.
For lunch, try a plate of our divine, locally sourced, handmade dumplings paired with our homemade chilli oil. Our traditional range of dumplings are handmade by family run business, Wonton Warriors; our gluten free range are provided by House of Goodness. Dumpling flavours are seasonal and may occasionally alternate.
