Chen Wen-Chi was born in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1969. His works in photography, video, installation and various forms of new media observe the nuances and subtleties of human interaction in space and time – and most particularly in the liminal zones encountered in the urban environment, where sometimes it seems that past and present collide. Currently Chairman of the department of Communication Design at Shih Chien University, Chen Wen-Chi lives and works in Taipei.
