Born in Dalian in 1990, Han Qingzhen studied printmaking at the prestigious Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, before completing an MFA in the Fine Art Department at Goldsmiths College, University of London, in 2017. In 2013, Han was awarded First Prize at the CAFA show in Beijing. She was shortlisted for the Graduate Art Prize in 2016. Her recent shows include ‘A Chemical Love Story;, Tang Contemporary Art, Beijing in 2017; Light Pavilion Project, Beijing, 2017; Today Art Museum, Beijing, 2017; Safe house 1, London, 2016; Ren/L’ Homme, Centre Artasia Paris; Sweden&China, Härnösands Arthall, Härnösands, Sweden, in 2016. Her work can also be found in the private collection across Europe and Asia. Han Qingzhen lives and works in Beijing.
