Fang Daqi was born in Wuhan in 1992. He is a multimedia visual artist, photographer, and filmmaker with a deep fascination for humanity’s connection to the natural world and its processes. He holds a BA in Electrical Engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and an MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media from SVA, New York. Through his work, Fang Daqi attempts to give form to his personal perspective as a Chinese citizen and gay man living as an immigrant travelling between New York City and Wuhan. He currently lives and works in New York, USA.
