Contemporary painter Li Guanshuai was born in 1997 in Dongying, Shandong province. His practice repeatedly seeks to express the process by which faith transforms a person’s life and will. Li’s painting practice is largely influenced by his Christian faith. He graduated from the Printmaking Department at Sichuan Fine Arts in 2019 and completed his master’s degree in the same department in 2022. The artist currently lives and works in Chongqing, China.
