Born in Leshan, Sichuan, artist Chen Siyu graduated from the department of sculpture at Chengdu Academy of Fine Arts, Sichuan Conservatory of Music in 2014. Actively involved in the arts community, Chen was a member of the China Sculpture Institute, the Sichuan Sculpture Institute, and the Sculpture Professional Committee of Chinese art and crafts society. He was an artist in residence at GlogauAIR in Berlin, Germany in 2017 where he continued his exploration of light, mirrors, and spatial dimensions. Chen has exhibited around China and is currently based in Chengdu.
