Gu Fan (aka ‘Lowfish’) works as a cartoonist and composes electronic music in his spare time. He uses 3D animation techniques and computer game technology. Gu thinks of the internet as his platform and habitat, rather than the physical spaces of the artworld, and is interested in integrating art, design and contemporary music. His work has been included in several exhibitions of animation and graphic design in Beijing, where he lives and works.
