Contemporary painter Li Erpeng was born in 1995 in Dalian, Liaoning province. As a Gen Z artist, Li merges the virtual and real worlds in his work, blending realism with abstraction. His use of vivid colours and bold forms reflects his instincts and invites viewers into an uplifting state of mind. Li graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing in 2018. He currently lives and works in Beijing.
