Yu Zeu was born in 1997 in Northeast China. His practice centres on the fusion of absurd performance and digital media, constructing a visual language rich in critique and metaphor. He deliberately blurs the boundary between the physical body and its digital extensions, transforming live performance into “video instructions.” He attended the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Yu Zeu’s work acts as a prism, refracting the anxieties and ingenuity of Gen Z artists under technological hegemony. The artist currently lives and works in Shanghai.
